Allow for easy upgrade, replacement and repair of Bluetooth module used in mobile phones, laptops, PDAs, and wireless networks
SANTA CLARA, Calif., June 10, 2002 - Emulation Technology, Inc. (ET), the industry’s leading manufacturer and marketer of Adapters, Sockets and Interconnect Solutions introduces a new Ericsson Bluetooth Module Production Socket & Prototyping Adapter.
Emulation Technology’s new socket & prototyping adapter are designed to fit the Ericsson ROK 101 007 module. The socket’s special surface mount footprint provides easy mounting to printed circuit boards; eliminates damage to valuable PCB’s, and promotes easy insertion and removal of modules for upgrade, replacement and repair. The prototyping adapter provides developers with options beyond surface mounting, and allows the socket to be plugged into standard prototyping boards.
“The Bluetooth Module Production Socket and Prototyping Adapter address the growing need for flexibility that engineers have in producing, developing, upgrading, and testing for the Bluetooth module,” says Emulation Technology President Joseph Bagliere. “The module is used for many applications requiring a Bluetooth capability. The socket and adapter are perfect for the growing number of high volume production applications and prototypes.”
